Feeling one with nature
River land forests, chains of hills and the lakes are best suited to sports like cycling, hiking, swimming and fishing. There are five campsites in the area. Cosy wine pubs and inns will lure you in with their local produce like pumpkin seed oil and home grown wines.

Lake Röcksee
The average temperature of this lake is about 27° C, so the swimming season usually extends well into autumn. The lake is perfect for all kinds of water sports. On the shore you will find an inn and a campsite. Fishing permitted.
The Mur tower at Gosdorf
From this 28 metre high tower you will get a great view of the Gosdorf meadows. The tower is an interesting steel construction which is a perfect example of how architecture can enrich nature.
The ship mill at Mureck
This ship mill is anchored in the river Mur and it is one of the last floating mills in Central Europe. Enjoy Styrian cuisine in the middle of untouched nature with produce from the Mur mill farmers.
Wine viewing platform
This viewing platform is in the shape of a wine glass and is 28 metres high. From its top you can enjoy the full panorama reaching from the Styrian hills to the Hungarian Plane.
